Research notes
The 502 Thunder Sabre was developed by Robyn Church from Cloud Mountain Armory during 2004 and was another big bore round competing with the 499 LWR and 50 Beowulf in modified AR-10 carbines. The 502 Thunder Sabre is basically a shortened and modified 50 AE case with the rim turned down to match the 7,62x39 bolt face.
