Research notes
The 45 GAP was developed by Ernest Durham, of CCI/Speer in November 2002 at the request of GLOCK to have a cartridge that’s the same overall length as a 9x19mm cartridge, but be equal in power to a .45 ACP cartridge. It is offered in the Glock 37 pistol and is used by a number of law enforcement agencies.
