Research notes
This was part of the Swiss revolver trials from 1871 – 1881 with cartridges loaded by the Swiss factory at Thun, as well as the firm of J. Stahel of Zurich and can be found in a number of different case lengths. It did not survive as the 7,5mm Swiss M1882 was selcted. (Erlmeier, Brandt Ref. 138G).
