Research notes
This is MB50 from Dixon. Two 9.5x45R MB variations were offered by Utendoerffer ("d" case shape = MB50, "b" case = MB51) and specimens of either type are rare. This is the e "d" type which has a noticeably higher shoulder with shorter neck. It was only listed in the c1884 Utendoerffer and c1900 RWS catalogs.
