Research notes
The 8.2x72R Express can be mistaken for the 8x72R Brenneke, however it was not made by any German manufacturers and the bullet diameter is larger, and the case has a different taper. This was a popular cartridge in Czechoslovakia and loaded by them up to about 1950. (Dixon Ref. GSP23).
