Research notes
This is the rimmed version of the 8x68 Magnum. There are very few, if any original specimens known. An RWS headstamped version has been reported but no actual specimen has been seen yet. There is also an unheadstamped version that also seems rare. The version below is by OPM in South Africa and is a replica for cartridge collectors.The MEYER version below is relatively new.
