Research notes
This rare 8x45R Egestorff is a tapered cartridge based on the 360 Express case and was apparently only listed by Egestorff and appears in c1900 catalogs in the 'Express' section. This was not shown in the 1912 Egestorff catalog so this must have been short-lived cartridge. It is effectively a shortened case version of the 8x57R Hagen (aka 8.25x57R : EXP22).
