Research notes
The 41 Avenger was developed by JD Jones from SSK industries in all probability during 1982 as the first review of the cartridge was published by Russ Gaertner in the Jan-Feb 1983 edition of American Handgunner. It was developed for use in 45 Auto handguns and can be manufactured from 45 ACP brass, but with the added pressures that this round is capable of, the best to use is the 45 Win Mag cases as they are much stronger to handle these loads.
