Research notes
Case designed by Frank Wesson for his single shot rifles during the late 1880’s. The Wesson cartridges were not interchangeable with other cartridges for single shot rifles by any other manufacturer. Cartridges were manufactured for him by the US Cartridge Co., UMC as well as WRA Co.
