Research notes
This is a modern cartridge between the "normal" 11.2 x72 with rebated rim and the rimmed version, both dating from around 1909. With the development of more powerful actions, it bacame possible to have a cartridge such as the 11.2 Schuler, but without bother with a rebated rim. Cases were in all probability made by Horneber.
